One world for everyone — Java and Bedrock play together! The server address is:

mc.jhess.me

Desktop PC (Java)

  1. Open Minecraft → Multiplayer → Add Server
  2. Server Name: mc.jhess.me, Server Address: mc.jhess.me (no port needed)
  3. Click Join Server

Mobile (Bedrock)

  1. Open Minecraft → Play → Servers tab → Add Server
  2. Name: mc.jhess.me, Address: mc.jhess.me, Port: 19132
  3. Save, then tap it to join

Console (PlayStation / Xbox)

  1. Console Settings → Network → set connection DNS to Manual
  2. Primary DNS: 104.238.130.180, Secondary: 1.1.1.1
  3. In Minecraft, add a custom server — Name and Address both mc.jhess.me, port 19132

(The 104.238.130.180 address belongs to BedrockConnect, a free community service that lets consoles join custom servers. It only reroutes a few game-server addresses; everything else resolves normally.)

Try in game

Command What it does
/teleport hub /teleport home /teleport parkour /teleport city /teleport adventure Fast-travel (/warp works too)
/kit starter Free gear, once an hour
/sethome then /home Save + return to your spot
/bal /pay <player> <amount> Check and send Minecoins

Minecoins, ranks and PvP

  • Minecoins: everyone starts with 100. Sell wheat, beef and other goods with /sell or at the Snack Shack signs, buy fireworks and diamonds there too.
  • Ranks: everyone starts as Rookie. dubx86 promotes players to Adventurer (warrior/builder/explorer kits), then Champion (flying + nicknames).
  • PvP is ON — be a good sport. Keep-inventory is still on, so losing a fight costs nothing.

Places to explore

  • Hub — floating rainbow island (spawn)
  • Home — furnished house, beds, garden, animals
  • Parkour — jump course, diamonds at the end
  • City — houses, slide, trampoline, shop
  • Adventure — Sunny Trail: friendly dragon, lookout tower, treasure cove

Rules

Family only — if someone can’t join, ask dubx86 (operator) to add them. Be kind. Keep-inventory is ON, so dying is no big deal. Creepers can’t break builds. One person sleeping skips the night. Bedrock players show with a . in front of their name — that’s normal.

Stuck? Check spelling (mc.jhess.me), mobile/console port 19132, update Minecraft to the newest version — then ask dubx86.
